Dental Implants
Dental implants are small titanium posts placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a foundation for artificial teeth.

What are dental implants?
After a tooth is lost, the jawbone starts to resorb. An implant placed in the bone helps to preserve the jawbone and facial structure.
Losing teeth can make people feel uncomfortable smiling or talking, and biting problems caused by tooth loss can affect eating habits. Implants aim to restore chewing function and appearance.
Who are they for?
Implants are an option for replacing one or more missing teeth. While dentures and removable bridges can be loose, implants provide fixed replacements that look natural and offer biting force similar to fixed bridges. Your general health and bone condition are assessed before treatment.
How does the process work?
Implant placement is a surgical procedure. Some people feel varying degrees of discomfort or pain, which usually subsides within a couple of days. Bruising and minor swelling may develop shortly after the procedure. Placing many implants is a longer procedure.
How many sessions?
The number of sessions depends on how many implants are placed and on your bone condition, and is planned at the examination.
